p. 91 – “The injury level of the victim is neither positively nor negatively associated with the likelihood of a guilty finding for males accused. In contrast, the found-guilty ratio for females accused falls from an already lower 46.8% in minor-injury cases to a dramatically lower 39.3% in major-injury cases. In other words, women who were charged in major-injury offenses were less likely to be found guilty than women charged in minor-injury offenses, and were also less likely to be found guilty than men in any injury-level category.”
